Even you made a profit on at least one of those stocks. It seems that you are very ungrateful. Since you have your own blog, why don't you spend more time in it and stop tying to steal turd's readers. BTW, I was here since this blog started from DAY 1. How are your immature posts better? Who are you and where did you come from? I don't recall seeing you post here until EA got called out and you showed up with your foul mouth. Someone with real information or something valuable to add would have stood their ground and elaborated more on their "insider" info. EA went on the defensive, started trash talking. Sure sign of a bullshitter. This thread is almost done and on its second page so I don't mind feeing your little whorish attention seeking now as I am assuming turd won't mind 2nd page drama. Paper is paper no matter in what form imo.

If the currencies collapse, one's paper profits might be worth an enormous sum but this sum is based on the collapsed currency no?

After the collapse, presuming one has registered their shares and the rule of law continues to apply which it should, one still has ownership in the mines and may retain value in this sense. But holding the shares after the transition - not my style & I'll likely be out well before, even if it means leaving solid paper profits out there. Not to say these shares won't be very valuable after the collapse, it's just that I don't know and safety and defense is the name of the game in a hyperinflation.

Also, the assumption one makes is instead of buying physical today with X dollars, one invests X dollars in miners & will be able to buy the same/more ounces down the road notwithstanding the higher spot price.

anyways, my two cents.caramelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16037173721286319471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3034901630224544639.post-52442815486825370732011-03-14T21:47:38.842-04:002011-03-14T21:47:38.842-04:00Larry

I had to send them proof of my address as it was my first order, but from there on they let me know when the order was confirmed, and when the bars were shipped.

Oh, and the bars are beautiful! David Bloom, currency chief at HSBC, said the apparent policy shift amounts to an earthquake in geo-finance.

"The mere fact that the US Treasury Secretary is even entertaining thoughts that the dollar may cease being the anchor of the global monetary system has caused consternation," he said.

Mr Geithner later qualified his remarks, insisting that the dollar would remain the "world's dominant reserve currency ... for a long period of time" but the seeds of doubt have been sown.

The markets appear baffled by the confused statements emanating from Washington. President Barack Obama told a new conference hours earlier that there was no threat to the reserve status of the dollar.

"I don't believe that there is a need for a global currency. The reason the dollar is strong right now is because investors consider the United States the strongest economy in the world with the most stable political system in the world," he said.DarkPurpleHazehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06725074790604681185noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3034901630224544639.post-52385875643707420532011-03-14T21:18:51.492-04:002011-03-14T21:18:51.492-04:00Ginger..I am all physical but I would worry more a...Ginger..I am all physical but I would worry more about mines being nationalized by countries around the world because your shares will still be shares of a company with solid assets. You need to get all the bankers in line that the raid is on for the next trading day. Then the bankers who also represent investors tell investors to hold their bids for later in the day. They will obtain gold and silver cheaper and thus they withhold their bids.
Then the bankers offer huge number of contracts at the opening with hardly anybody bidding. This dramatically forces the price down and in turn it trips all of those stop losses which in turn fuel another downturn. The bankers do not have any signal for a retreat. They only know to keep supplying massive contracts. With 20 minutes to go, they start covering their shorts as quick as they can... As a rule when you see gold and silver rise big time and the shares of big mining companies remain stationary or fall, generally that is the signal that a raid will begin in full force the next day."

http://harveyorgan.blogspot.com/2011/03/massive-raid-on-silver-and-goldminimal.html

As an aside, I notice here and on other blogs there seems to be a sudden showing of bearish postings... but they're usually from people who have never posted before and have a lot to say about how low gold and silver will go. If I were a bankster with an interest in seeing depressed precious metals I would probably orchestrate a bear campaign on some of the more popular gold bug blogs to shake things up...
