Chart Update

The Tech Team is still working with the server company to blunt and stop the continued DoS attacks. In the meantime, at least we have this backup platform to utilize.

I'll keep this brief. I had tried to buy back my Mar $35 silver call today but I never got filled. Nuts! I thought I might on the pullback late morning but it never happened. I was looking to buy it back because I'm expecting a decent UP day tomorrow, post the BLSBS.

I may still get another chance. If tomorrow plays out like your typical BLSBS day, the metals will surge in the moments right after the numbers are released. They will then get hammered back about 15 minutes later before reversing course and heading higher. Now that 1750 and 34 have fallen, the next targets are The Battle Royale.

Gold is head to the area around 1770-80 where it will encounter the downsloping trendline from the September highs. Silver is headed to 35.50 or so where it will also encounter stiff resistance. With a lousy BLSBS number, both metals may reach these levels by tomorrow.

Regardless of what happens tomorrow, these two charts are the only ones that matter right now. Both metals are trending higher post the FOMC "announcements" last week. Look for these trends to continue.

I'll let you know via twitter when the site is back up. Until then, enjoy blogspot!  TF

  1. Great to see the metals back in attack mode. Just like the good ol' days of this blog...

  3. lol. That made me laugh. Hat tip when we get back to the main site. I can' believe that 35 will be allowed to be broken although at some point it will due to natural forces. When it does, it will be interesting to see how far and then how far it retraces. Great to be back on the old site in a funny homely kind of way.

  4. Kinda good being here in a way....like an old hangout in a town not visited in a while. Hard to believe its been only a little over a year. Thanks Turd - for the old, and the new.

  6. It's now probably thousands of turdites constantly refreshing the page to see if the site is back up! ;-)

  7. If you weren't effective Turd they wouldn't bother with you! Almost an honor to have such scoundrels as enemies!

  8. Must have been that Feb 29 hat contest that took down the site. Never saw so many entries in a hat contest before! Wonder if people were trying to obtain multiple TFMR usernames in order to cheat the contest. Or is Blythe f'n with Turd? You know what they say about a woman scorned...

  10. Worst part is that it hasn't even been over a year! I think the new site started in June of last year? That's only 7 months ago!

Time flies when you are stacking metals!

  11. Nice to have the old hangout as a backup.
You can't keep a good Turd down!

  12. Good Evening, Mr. Ferguson!

I just wanted to let you know that you're doing a great job, you're right on track, and everything is falling into place.

Please be certain to pay close attention to tomorrow's commentary. Additionally, I hope you appreciated the little bone I threw your way today.

  13. Hi,don't know if it was me posting 2 revised lists of "H's"
original list, one was sorted by gold price and other by silver price. But when I tried the site seemed stuck, could have been just coincidental. Any there were way out of range guesses 1 low & 2 high gold and silver. When I didn't include them in the totals, the average was $1761.04 Gold and $35.93 Silver.

  15. Don't let the bastards get you down, Turd!

Oh, and I missed the "Prepare accordingly". :D

Wow, feels weird doing the word verification thing now.

  16. Wow it sure feels like the wild west out here. Got tangled on some thistle bush. Hate it when they roll over my head on bad hair day.

Eric!!! Damn you look (and sound) so much younger here.

Yo Bernak thank you for your boner. Bone I mean.
    We got it licked mate.

  17. Cool, I missed the old blog.

Thanks for pushing the info out in the face of adversity Turd!

  18. Glad we have this site for a backup.

Anybody notice the recent talk of Treasury Bond sales with negative yield?

    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/supercommittee-runs-america-urges-end-zero-bound-demands-issuance-negative-yield-bonds

    http://economix.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/02/01/treasury-ponders-negative-interest-rates/

Seems like bull$hit; who would actually buy them? Gold and Silver may not pay a dividend or have a yield, but at least it's not negative. Could this be good for PMs? Should be in my opinion.

Maybe it's just a little psyops.

  20. JoeKa!!
Are you saying that viking ship and horns are aging me? Well, I tell ya, my miners are making me feel young again lately!

Don't know if anybody saw this, but Sinclair's buddy, Alf Fields, has an article out that looks at silver. He's seeing gold and silver going together on this big wave. Gold to 4500 and Silver to 158 for a GSR of around 28.

  21. @Eric: yeah you have a certain 'glow' about you now. Must be all that gold!!!

    Fun with wordver 1: frikant

*it's Friday and I still Kant hold myself together.

    Fun with wordver 2: farder

*I try and try but it's Farder every time.

  22. After yesterday's mad post-sorting to find the non-guess-the-price posts, it's pretty refreshing to step into this old familiar place and find that all is well.

Best of luck to the tech team in resolving the issue and bringing the newer site back.

  23. So Alf says 4500 gold and 150 silver. My question is what RATIO should I hold? Currently I am 67:1 silver:gold

Any opinions on the proper ratio of physical to hold?

No one would willing buy them but they sound like perfect *mandatory* investments to force on the sheople in return for what used to be known as their retirement accounts and 401k's.

  25. Nothing to say except howdy to all the old familiar gang who have showed up here.

Since it's the old site, I guess I'll use my old name.

See y'all back on Main Street tomorrow!

  26. Throwback. I love it. All of us here are truly the anachronists.

Thanks for keeping the posts going on this site. I was starting to get all shaky and such, from the lack of real time input from all my buddies here . . .

    1. No one's ever called me an anachronist before.

Though my pal Wong Foo's called me a sexy cross dresser with a dashing sense of style.

Then again can you trust a person called 'Wong Foo'?

      Yours truly,

  27. Just like old times. I miss this place.
I was blaming it (all day)on all of the newbies shooting for the hat.
Somebody got a little direction from somebody else (is my opinion.. if you know what I mean.)
Thanks to Silver Doc for the heads up.
I hope others are passing the message along.
Just arrived home and have not had time to check any other sites.
A shout out to all of you who found your way back here.

  28. Worth reading overall analysis from Eric Janszen:

    http://www.itulip.com/forums/showthread.php/21580-Year-of-the-Jump-Ball-Part-I-Payback-Eric-Janszen?p=220615#post220615

He's more of a techie bug than a gold bug. He had good predictions on silver and this article gives a nice summary of his past results and current thoughts..

  30. May the troubles of the new site continue just long enough for all newbs to scroll thru the content here to see how it all started.

I miss the days of having to painfully scroll thru numerous useless posts (including mine), struggle with image attachments and try to sort through information...but enough griping about the new site!

Now this blogspot had a real communal feel about it. It's where everyone knew your name and you could slide in at the bar anytime and just be yourself.

Maybe it's just me who feels this way.

  31. Indentured Servant: Good point.

Hopefully, if that actually happens (forced purchase of bonds in retirement accounts), I will have already cleaned out my 401k. Still waiting for my miners stocks to recover a bit more.
