Monday Morning

10:30 EST update:
This chart need no explanation. Again, look right................................................>

A couple of quick things while I wait for the coffee to kick in:

1) Some saw a "political" message in my post of yesterday. Its in the eye of the beholder, I guess. I would have thought that the use of the term "republocrat" for every politician would have made clear my disdain for both U.S. political parties. Also, please remember that, different from ZH, I am not writing this blog for MBA-educated prop desk traders. This blog is for regular folks and I try to write things in way fashion that is designed to educate and inform.

2) Korean War II did not break out overnight as some had feared. Jets were scrambled. Guam B-52s were on alert. The South conducted their drills. The North ate their kim chi and watched from afar. So far...

3) If you haven't yet, you might take a few minutes to read this history of the World Gold Council and the fraudulent p.o.s.e.t.f. GLD. Interesting, enlightening yet disingenuous and manipulative:
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-12-20/soros-gold-bubble-at-1-375-has-miners-push-every-button-in-tale-of-tears.html

4) Last night, "60 Minutes" had an expose on the very real financial crisis affecting U.S. state and local governments. I can't find a link to the full video yet but here's a link to the story. QE to infinity!
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/12/19/60minutes/main7166220.shtml?tag=mncol;lst;1

5) Its 9:05 EST and both metals are trading higher and the stock market looks to open higher. Keep in mind that there is a record $17,000,000,000 in POMO today. Let's see if we can get the ball rolling this morning and have a nice, solid UP day.

Much more later.

  1. Thanks for the update. I hope we can end the year on a positive note. If not, I have a feeling that next year will be very enlightening.

  2. Suppose thgis is the video you meant: http://marketcyclesresearch.blogspot.com/2010/12/meredith-whitney-gives-states-and.html

Suggest to also keep in mind last two posts in my site with projections by Cyclist. He's many times proven to by uncanny accurate. Sometimes though there are inversions and a low is a high and opposite. But if traded properly - based and confirmed by TA - that shouldn't be much of a problem. Anyway - also Cyclist can be wrong - so alway DYOD!

  3. Turd.....hope you continue to make your feelings known on the Demodumbs and Republipukes.....there might be a dimes worth of difference....there are a few good ones on both sides but then that may be what your definition of "good" is......for now accept we are "owned" by the Banking Cartel and enjoy the game...I'll fight by owning silver and gold

  4. Looks like the daily silver silly time has started. 29 is up first, looks like a fight. Then 28.5. Pretty comical.

  6. 2 targets of my "fearless prediction" made dec 16 achieved: USDX above 80.8 building a trap (81 atm) and EURUSD 1.31 (1.3107 atm) ... nice how predictable they are.
Golds target of 135x was missed by a single digit number and silvers target ov 28 by 40 cent. So far.
But the week is still young.
Below 1.30 and 80.15 are extremes - if seen.

  7. Message is: stop fighting Blythe, especially around the 2 OEs - and instead join her hunting the less smarter sheeple. As otherwise you belong to the sheeple.

  8. Great links Turd, particularly that 60 minutes spot. Please continue to be on top of people who take this into political/religious pontificating. The fight is not left or right, it's big vs small.

  9. Hey Theos, religion aside, politics and the price of PM's or any other consumable have been and will continue to be forever linked on various levels...and it really isn't anyones call as to what others may have to say on this or any other forum, this is still a relatively free country...if you don't like what others have to say, don't read it and don't run to Turd to defend you.

  10. Massive breakout pressures in PMs building up...EE unable to break the will of the buyers...days away at most...

  11. 90 minutes total for raid and its complete reversal. Amazing! DD, TF, you think this will continue to be the case?

  12. The lack of reading comprehension of people is astounding. Soros never said gold is in a bubble, he said "gold is the ultimate asset bubble". Soros isn't stupid, he is telling people that gold is the last bubble. At some point it will be overvalued...

  13. Wow look at that V in the chart... heck of a reversal.

  15. How would one go about buying gold and silver calls on a Schwab account that can trade options? Or do you have to have a Comex account?

  16. Turd see latest interview whit Bart Chilton from after the CFTC meeting 16.des, there is some new stuff..http://www.bloomberg.com/video/65343540/

  17. i like BC, he's got dope hair.

He didn't answer the important question of WHY, WHY IS IT TAKING SO LONG, WHY THE RECESS WITH JAN IMP. DEADLINES...preferring to focus on P-p-p-p-Pa-Position POINT ppProPOSALS!! He seemed somewhat tourettic on that point.

Clearly the limit of his purview, to quote, "right now".

Still, I feel for him, man. Also, was this a Dec 16th Interview only released today, 21st?
