Welcome Back, Blythe!

As you can see by looking to the right, Blythe finally made it back from her Caribbean holiday and immediately went to work. You can tell its Blythe by looking at the other items we follow here...crude is unch, grains are fractionally lower, the USDX is flat but, well, again look right. Hello, Blythe. Glad you made it home safely.

Two other quick things I found this weekend. Here's a fun, little silver video that Harvey had on his site:

One of the few blogs I follow is Gonzalo Lira's. Many of you who read ZH probably follow Gonzalo, too, but check this out when you get a chance. Pretty good stuff:

Lastly, check out these long-term charts from Trader Dan.

I'll try to post more later this evening. TF

  1. Had to come out swinging. PMs closing on big gains and highs for the year, don't want to start on the wrong foot and let that momentum continue. Getting a wad of cash soon so hoping Blythe can pole ax the price down for me. Blythe if you see this, love you honey but I need it lower!

  2. Glad to see you're back as well Turd, Just came back from my local coin dealer and I cleaned him out of all the morgans he had left. He told me he wouldn't have any more for at least 2 weeks. PM's are holding their ground I would say.

  3. Turd, I love the blog. I've been on board from the start, hanging in the shadows.

Just wanted to say best wishes for a prosperous 2011. I look forward to following the Daily Blythe right here with you.

    Felice Anno Nuovo!

  4. I'm ready to buy more shinies... If Blythe succeeds on bringing the prices down, I'm ready to jump. 2011 is going to be the year the US realizes what inflation _really_ is.

  5. Happy New Year, everyone. CogDis has a heartwarming and very practical story about silver:

  6. Happy New Year Turdmeister!

We just hit our first inflectio point of the new year. Silver and platinum are trending higher, gold is range bound. We will see a big move from here.

Top of rang is $1420 bottom is $1395.

  7. So much for that raid. Pretty weak effort if you ask me.

  8. We were not going to come out of the gates making new highs. The market could have had to sell off before continuing its strong surge. That market could have been effected by Blythe, but it was only a distraction. I welcome Blythe these days as it brings routine buying opportunities. You know once it starts going up, where it is going!

As long as you hold long enough, you should never lose in this market...

Looking forward to tomorrow! I think this should be a big week for silver and gold with new investors hopefully flooding in the heavily undervalued miners!

  12. Looks like that short position is hurting!

  13. Smells like a short raid is brewing, with Ireland being so quiet over the last few weeks and the big "debate" over the debt ceiling, not to mention Ron Paul coming up to bat.

  14. Rumor about the world's richest man wanting to get into Silver, via a mining company:

  15. We could use a pull back to resistance it would be healthy to drop to 29. So we can buy the f-ing dip!

  16. Heat:

I doubt we see the days of 20 again...
I would be more worried about stacking as much as you can while its in the 30s...

    Shouldn't be here long...
Nor should heavily undervalued miners stay heavily undervalued.....
